West Ham's pursuit of Inter Milan's Zdravko Kuzmanovic has gathered pace after reports in Italy that the Hammers are about to bid for the Serbian international.
Kuzmanovic is not thought to be part of the Nerazzurri's first team plans for the coming season and Irons boss Sam Allardyce is said to be readying a bid in the region of £7m as he aims to secure a central midfield signing after the departure of Gary O'Neil last month.
Allardyce today confirmed his interest in the player, telling reporters that Kuzmanovic 'is a player I like' but that 'it would be inappropriate for me to comment.'
