@Westhamladies lose out to Colchester Ladies in cup semi

West Ham Ladies are out of the Essex County Cup for another season after a narrow 1-0 loss to Colchester United Ladies. The Hammers fancied their chances, having made the semis courtesy of a thumping 13-2 annihilation of Witham Town; but were defeated by a 69th minute U's strike which proved to be the winner. It's now back to the bread-and-butter of the Women's Premier League for the girls, where they currently lie 5th, eight points off the top. They face league leaders Reading next Sunday and will want to take out their frustration of their cup exit on the Royals.
