"We'd love to have Lampard back"- Brady

West Ham vice chairman Karren Brady has stated that she'd welcome former Hammer Frank Lampard back with open arms. Writing in her column in the Sun, the ex Birmingham City managing director sung the Chelsea man's praises, saying that "(making England's squad for) Brazil 2014 is well within his range." Brady opined that it was "worrying for English fans" that Lampard, reviled amongst West Ham fans after his comments about the club since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2001; most memorably "I'd like to score the goal that sent West Ham down" in 2005; was considering a move to the U.S to play for LA Galaxy, and said that "if Chelsea don't want him, we would love to have him back." The Hammers vice chairman is not known for her restraint and has angered the club's fans in the past with comments such as "I love the idea of calling the club West Ham Olympia," and this latest gobbet will do her no favours with the support at all.
