Sir Trev in line for Lifetime Achievement award

West Ham legend Sir Trevor Brooking is up for a Lifetime Achievement award at this month's Willow Foundation charity dinner. The London Football Legends Dinner & Awards at Park Plaza Riverbank in London will include three awards- Best Goalscorer, the Willow Award and the prestiged Lifetime Achievement award. Brooking has been nominated along with Arsenal legend Frank McLintock for the award and will hope to walk away with it. After a life spent in football, it is hard to see a man more deserving of the award than Sir Trev, who remains the last man to score a winning goal in an FA Cup Final for a club outside of the top flight, after his headed/nosed finish won the cup for the Irons in 1980. All the best Sir!
