SBOBET to end sponsorship deal with Irons

Blowing Bubbles understands that SBOBET are set to end their sponsorship deal with West Ham United, stating better opportunities for both parties.

Newspapers from the Isle of Man claim that the sponsorship has been ended and that stadium stand sponsors Alpari may take over.

SBOBET executive director Bill Mummery said: “We have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship these past four years during which SBOBET and West Ham United have each gained a heightened level of global exposure, particularly in Asia. The time has now come for both parties to review and refresh their sponsorship programmes.” This comes as shocking news.. we all remember what happened the last time a sponsorship deal with the Irons ended mid season. Remember those little patches on the players' shirts hiding the XL Holidays logo? More on this as soon as we hear it.
