Reserves take on Southampton at Rush Green tonight

The Development Squad are in action tonight against Southampton at Grays Athletic's Rush Green ground, and will hoping to keep up the pressure on U21 Premier League Elite Group Stage leaders Spurs, who are four points clear at the top of the league, while the Hammers lie second in the table. After a professional performance in beating West Bromwich Albion 2-0 last Friday night, the lads will be hoping for a more comfortable victory against what is a poor Saints side, second from bottom of the league table and still without a win in this new stage of the U21 league season. Strikers Elliot Lee and Wellington Paulista have been in great form recently and both scored against the Baggies, and will be wanting to do the same again tonight- particularly with first team manager Sam Allardyce reportedly on the lookout for fresh striking talent. Both players will want to show the gaffer that he need not spend money on new signings when he has their talent already at the club! Kick off is at 7pm and admission is free for season ticket holders- £3 for adults and £1 for concessions otherwise.
