Peters: Moore "could do anything"

West Ham legend Martin Peters has led tributes to the late Bobby Moore leading up the 20th anniversary of his death.

In a week of special tributes, Peters has started by paying his respects on West Ham TV.

Peters said: "It was such a sad day because he was such a great guy...Having played with him for so many years, it was a disaster for me and for Geoff Hurst as well.

"He could do anything. He could score goals and he was a great defender. He knew exactly what he wanted to do, he would mark people out of the game. He was just a wonderful, wonderful player.”

He went on to describe what a great man Moore was to be with and how he will never be forgotten.

There will be more special tributes throughout the week.
