No confirmed deal for Carroll: Big Sam

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has said that nothing has been decided at the club over the future of Andy Carroll. The Hammers were widely reported to have agreed a deal with Liverpool to sign the England striker at the end of the season and only had to agree terms with Carroll to finalise the deal, but talking to Yahoo!-Eurosport, Big Sam stated that "there are a lot of things to be discussed before we decide whether we will (make a move for Carroll) or we won't. It depends where we finish (in the league), what Andy thinks and feels, what the owners feel." Allardyce also said that he hopes to get the best out of Carroll before the end of the season, saying that "the West Ham fans haven't seen the best of him yet- I think if he stays fit, they'll see that before the end of the season." We certainly hope so, Sam. Be interesting to see how this one develops; as ever, we'll keep you posted.
