Lambert rules out Hammers move

Ricky Lambert has said that he wants to see out his career at Southampton.

This comes after reportedly being scouted by West Ham boss Sam Allardyce.

The goal-scoring abilities of the 30-year-old striker are not in doubt, with his Southampton tally stands at 99 goals. He is a good target to aim for but told the Sun that he is happy where he is.

He said: “My family are happy here and I am very happy...It has been a special three and a half years and I would love to finish my career at Southampton.”

That seemingly puts an end to that rumour, but as we well know, anything can happen in football so keep watching Blowing Bubbles for more news on this one!
