West Ham winger Matt Jarvis has told whufc.com that’s it’s great to have Andy Carroll back from injury.
In a post-match interview with the official website, Jarvis said: "He's a great player, he wants to go and contest every ball, every cross, every goal-kick, every corner, everything! It's great to have him back in the team."
The Hammers’ record signing from Championship side Wolves may have his big-money move overtaken if an agreement is reached between West Ham and Carroll, but this does not seem likely to faze him.
Jarvis also reflected on what was a good performance against Swansea and a much needed clean sheet.
He said: "Swansea are a great passing team and you've seen the results recently, that's why they're up there in the league.. We had to really play well and defend well as a team to stop them getting the chances and I don't think they really created too much.”
With Jarvis demonstrating the crossing ability we signed him for and Carroll fthe physical presence we signed him for against Swansea, we can’t wait to see more of this pair in action in the coming games.
