Hammers target Kiessling turns down Kiev move

West Ham target Stefan Kiessling has turned down the chance to talk to Dynamo Kiev about a possible move to Ukraine. The Hammers were linked with the German international yesterday, but face stiff competition for the striker, according to his agent, with Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested. Now, Sky Sports have reported that the Bayer Leverkusen forward has rejected a move to the Ukrainian side, who face a Round of 32 Europa League second leg tie in France against Bordeaux in two days time. Has be said, if the prospect of regular European football can't tempt Kiessling to Ukraine, it's difficult to see what West Ham can offer him. A long shot, I'd say.
