Big Sam handed big fine

Sam Allardyce has been fined for the comments he made after the FA Cup match at Old Trafford.

After appearing at his personal hearing, Allardyce was fined £8000 and warned about his future conduct.

The charge in question was breaking Rule E3 of the FA's rulebook, which forbids questioning the integrity of officials or implying that they could be biased.

This may or may not make Sam think twice before partaking in a post match interview. My guess is it won’t make much difference. If a manager has something to say in the heat of the moment, he’ll probably say it, and that goes for any Premier League boss.
